Bridging Worlds Through the Visual Diary of Deji Adebuga
Deji Adebuga is a Nigerian-born, Columbus-based artist whose work serves as a mixed-media bridge between West African heritage and contemporary American life. With a professional foundation built in the editorial newsrooms of Lagos and refined through academic excellence at CUNY and The Ohio State University, Deji brings a
unique typographic precision to his fine art.

A member of the Ohio Art League and a former Senior Typographer for The PUNCH, Deji views every canvas as a “window to the world” and a celebration of perception. His current works focus on the representation and preservation of indigenous African artifacts and objects in contemporary visual space, showcasing the range of expression of African culture, traditions, motifs, and the evolution of the human spirit.
